OARIS started in 1994 with the development of high-quality software for the finance-sector. Due to the staff’s years of experience in the banking industry, OARIS took successfully part in the project “Electronic Stock Exchange Schweiz” regarding the realization and connection in two banks.
In 1996, the first bank started with the OARIS Order Management System (OMS) at the SWX Exchange. At the same time, there was created the Application Management with its services regarding the management of SWX, Virt-X, Eurex, Xetra and OMS.
Today, more than 20 banks use the OARIS Order Management System for the transfer and administration of their securities and funds from their bank systems to various stock exchanges and brokers/clients.
